The Mardi Gras parade (Saturday 3 March)

Join Rainbow Labor to march in the parade watched by about 300,000 spectators as well as television coverage.

This year, Rainbow Labor will be marching under the banner "It's Time for Marriage Equality".

Our Mardi Gras float will celebrate reforms achieved for the LGBTI community by the Labor Party, including the historic change to our Party's platform in 2011 supporting marriage equality.

Our float will also acknowledge our Federal MPs who will support marriage equality when Stephen Jones' Private Member's Bill is introduced into the Federal Parliament.

We would love you to join us for the parade.

Fair Day (11am, Sunday 12 February)

Fair Day at Victoria Park in Camperdown marks the start of the Mardi Gras festival.

Come visit the Rainbow Labor stall, or better yet volunteer an hour of your time to help out.

Rainbow Labor Fundraiser for Mardi Gras

To pay for our Mardi Gras entry, Rainbow Labor will be holding a fundraiser at Kinsela’s Hotel at Taylor Square (383 Bourke Street, Darlinghurst) on Wednesday 22 February from 6pm ($20/$10 conc./unwaged). We hope you can make it.
