Three things you can do to support equal marriage...
With just 2 weeks to go until conference, a lot of you have been asking us what YOU can do to support the campaign for marriage equality.
Well here's your chance.
1. Come along to the Rainbow Labor Fringe event on Thursday, 1 December
RAINBOW LABOR AND UNIONS FOR MARRIAGE EQUALITY
National Conference Fringe Event

WHEN: 7.30pm, Thursday 1 December.

WHAT: Conference update / drinks, nibbles and music provided / guest speaker TBA. The Unions have promised us some quality entertainment and it's a chance to meet with delegates and Labor members

2. Join us at the Challenge Assembly on Thursday (before the fringe event)
Challenge Assembly is the Thursday night curtain raiser to the ALP National conference, where over 300 party members and elected representatives are expected to come together for one of the most high profile meetings of the Conference.
If you want a more equal Australia, support marriage equality or the humane treatment of refugees you should be there to show your support.
Book your free spot to ensure you don't miss out. All party members welcome.
Where? NSW Teachers' Federation Auditorium, 37 Reservoir St, Surry Hills
When? Thursday, December 1, 2011 from 5:45 PM
(The Challenge Assembly is walking distance from the Fringe venue).
3. Do you have some free time around midday on Friday 1 December?
If so, keep it free. We can't say why yet. But we can say it will be worth it.
Please send us an email if you can make it.
Volunteers wanted!
We're also looking for volunteers to help out on our stall and handing out materials at conference . Email us back if you can help, and the times you will be available.
(We need helpers on Friday and Saturday morning).
If you are a party member and intend to go to National Conference please make sure you register online before the conference starts. Security will be tight and people without accredited passes will not be let in.
