Labor MPs, Senators and candidates are showing their support for equal marriage by having their photo taken with this Labor for Marriage Equality sign and sharing the photo on social media.

The Federal Labor Government has introduced the Sex Discrimination Amendment (Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity and Intersex Status) Bill 2013.

Voting is currently underway to elect six rank-and-file representatives from NSW to the new National Policy Forum.

Rainbow Labor NSW asked all the NSW candidates to answer some questions about where they stand on marriage equality, ani-discrimination legislation, how to engage the LGTBI community and how the Labor Party can help achieve full equality for transgender and intersex people.

Twelve NSW candidates responded to our survey. Of those, all but one said they support marriage equality.
